This month's Trends

This month is all about getting ready for changing weather.

  1. You are getting winter gear before prices go up due to increases in shipping. We’ve been tracking availability and pricing of outdoor products for the past 6 years and we’re seeing some items are already hard to find or unavailable. In particular, the winter gear you are grabbing early appears to be men’s winter boots and women’s winter boots.

  2. You are getting electronics before prices go up even more. From rugged, waterproof cameras to GPS Dog Collars, we’ve seen a jump in interest in getting electronic items — especially those with GPS.

  3. From picking up rain gear to getting rain jackets, you’re preparing for winter while prices are still low.

  4. Fluctuating weather can be hard on the body and some athletes find that good-tasting electrolytes help regulate between heat waves and cold snaps.

  5. You’re prepping for winter and staying ahead of the game! We’re seeing comfy warm hiking socks and temperature-regulating merino sports bras and women’s hiking underwear trending.

  6. You love getting outside with your dogs safely. A dog harness in conjunction with a dog leash is safest for your pet and you can use it not just on the trail and while running, but in everyday life, too.
